Among the many excuses patients give for delaying a needed visit to the oral and maxillofacial surgeon’s office is fear of pain. While anxiety is a normal and common reaction, it has little basis in the dental office of today.
Be assured that we have extensive training and experience in out-patient anesthesia for oral and maxillofacial surgery patients and procedures. Our facility and treatment protocols meet or exceed standards established by our specialty in the State of Texas. Our oral surgeons possess unrestricted Level 4 anesthesia permits from the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. Also, our office facility is current with the Office Anesthesia Evaluation required by the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Besides oral surgeons, no other group of anesthesia providers in dentistry have this degree of expertise or oversight. We want to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for our patients.
